A man who is legally trying to change his age because he 'identifies' as 'age-fluid' and younger than he is was a guest on Good Morning Britain this morning - to absolutely no one's surprise.

Emile Ratelband has recently entered into a high profile legal battle to be recognised at 49, instead of his actual age of 69, because he gets 'more response' on Tinder that way.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain this morning, the Dutchman said:

If you are born as a beautiful small girl and now you're as beautiful as you are now and you say, 'I feel like a man, I want to have a d***.'

He was arguing that if transgender people are allowed to change their gender, then he should legally be allowed to identify as another age, and change age, too.

But, his early morning outburst left the show's hosts, Piers Morgan and Susannah Reid, lost for words.

Interjecting quickly, Morgan said:

We'd like to apologise to everyone who was offended by Emile's language.

Defending his language, the Dutchman said:

I'm from the continent. Sorry, apologies.

Many people on social media were surprised by the man's arguments, and by the fact he appears to equate being 'age-fluid' with being 'gender-fluid'.

Many thought his idea was completely ridiculous.

Ratelband has been accused of belittling the trans community because of previous comments regarding gender-fluid people. In attempting to equate his wish to be younger with transgender people's knowledge that they are a different gender, he belittles and mocks their experiences.

Explaining his bid to change his age legally, the Telegraph reports he argued:

I have done a check-up and what does it show? My biological age is 45 years.

When I'm 69, I am limited. If I'm 49, then I can buy a new house, drive a different car. I can take up more work

When I'm on Tinder and it say I'm 69, I don't get an answer. When I'm 49, with the face I have, I will be in a luxurious position.

Transgenders can now have their gender changed on their birth certificate, and in the same spirit there should be room for an age change.
