Mass protests across the country, increased racial tension and a growing distrust of the country's police forces... but don't forget the very important Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
That's Fox News's version of important events in the US anyway, following a grand jury's decision not to indict the police officer who placed the unarmed Eric Garner into a chokehold that is outlawed in New York - a chokehold which resulted in his death.
After detailing the grand jury's decision and subsequent protests, Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson expresses her fear that the protests may disrupt the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Manhattan.

So, I mean, I certainly hope nothing is going to happen in New York City today... we've got the tree lighting ceremony.
