Girl breaks retainer, then the internet with incredible Michael B Jordan story

The Black Panther movie broke a bunch of records and earned $421.8 million (£304) in just 12 days, but there’s one more thing it broke (this time by accident): a young girl’s retainer.

Let’s back up a little.

For those of you who have watched the film (it’s been out two weeks guys, so if you haven’t – get to it), there’s one particular scene in which the antagonist Erik Killmonger, played by Michael B Jordan, takes off his shirt.

Apparently the scene was too much for one young girl who clenched her teeth so hard that she broke her retainer.

Same, tbh.

Her orthodontist wrote about it in a Tumblr post…

One of my patients came in for an emergency visit, because she snapped the wire on her retainer watching the movie when MBJ took his shirt off she clenched her teeth so f**king hard she snapped it. That is the f**king funniest s**t ever to me this tiny 17 year old girl thirsting so goddamn hard she busted steel.

The post swiftly went viral…

Sophia, the girl in question, found her way to the post...

...But by far the best part of this story is that Michael B Jordan offered to get her new ones.

Sophia handled it like a boss, though

People online lapped up the post and shared it hundreds of thousands of times in just a few short hours.
