You may have noticed there's been some discussion about Trump's new healthcare bill recently.
Donald Trump has been trying to pass a new bill to repeal and replace Obamacare - but as he didn't have enough support (despite the Republicans having a majority), the vote on the was scrapped - a huge blow to Trump who says he wants to tackle the issue again.
Newt Gingrich, former Presidential candidate, Speaker of the House and Republican commentator had a few words to say about it...
Then, seven hours later, he seemed to completely change his mind.
Yesterday morning the Republican party strategist tweeted:
No one should be confused.Obamacare repeal if it passes will be Trump's triumph. He personally intervened to save bill when it faced defeat
And in the afternoon he tweeted
Why would you schedule a vote on a bill that is at 17% approval? Have we forgotten everything Reagan taught us?
You could say the Republicans are a little bit confused about where they stand on this bill.
Unsurprisingly, Twitter has been laughing at Gingrich.
Awkward...
