Noel Edmonds has a “secret code” to communicate with his wife while he’s on I’m a Celebritiy, according to a close source.
The anonymous source said Edmonds told them he was going to send messages to Liz Davies, his wife, “telling her he loves her and how he’s doing”.
They added: “But he didn’t explain to anyone else how he would do that.”
The former Deal or No Deal host's appearance on the show has divided fans, due to his disruptive entrance into the jungle.
Despite the backlash, Edmonds apparently believes I’m a Celeb will help repair his reputation with the public, after a series of bizarre statements.
The source said:
Noel believes he will bring a load of positive energy and light into the camp – and will be like a spiritual guru and father figure to the other contestants.
He also thinks he will have the opportunity to redeem himself in the eyes of the public.
In 2015, Edmonds claimed death does not exist and warned “electro smog”, which destroys human's "natural electro-magnetic fields”, is the biggest threat to humanity:
You don’t live life, life lives you. There isn’t such a thing as death, it’s just departure. You cannot die. It’s been known for a very long time.
He was also strongly criticised for claiming he cured his prostate cancer with an Electromagnetic Pulse device and “positive energy” in 2016.
Edmonds is currently in a legal battle with Lloyds Bank over financial losses he suffered when his Unique Group company collapsed.
