This spoof of Jeremy Corbyn in the style of The Office is hilarious

Much like Malcolm at the end of the first series of The Office, Jeremy Corbyn’s tenure as Labour leader is approaching the end.

After a devastating election defeat that felt like the end of progressive politics in this country for the foreseeable future, it is hard to feel optimistic about almost anything. But it least there’s the content of the artist formerly known as Lord Buckethead and now plying his trade as Count Binface. His actual name is Jon Harvey and he’s a comedian and writer who’s produced an outstanding video about Corbyn’s time in office in the style of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s TV masterpiece.

In the viral video, titled The Opposition, Harvey has spliced together genuine footage of Corbyn and his team in the exact style of the BBC comedy. The scenes fit perfectly in the cringe comedy style and the comedian is to be applauded even if he struggled as much as the Labour party during the recent election. The video sees Jeremy Corbyn complaining about the BBC and planning to sign apples.
