Trump supporters are furiously trying to cancel The Simpsons after Marge speaks out about disrespectful 'name-calling'

Trump supporters are absolutely furious Marge Simpson feels “disrespected” by a senior Donald Trump adviser.

It all started when Jenna Ellis, who is a senior legal adviser and attorney to the POTUS, tweeted on Wednesday after Joe Biden tapped Kamala Harris as his VP pick:

Then on Friday, the official Simpsons Twitter account tweeted a video addressing it.

In the video, Marge walked through a red curtain – which is reminiscent of the warning she gave during the first “Treehouse of Horror” episode – and admitted she usually doesn’t “get involved in politics”, but she was “pissed off” about the name-calling.

The speech also cleverly referenced Trump’s bizarre comments this week when he tweeted “The ‘suburban housewife’ will be voting for me”.

Predictably, Trump supporters weren’t having any of Marge getting political:

So they called for the show to be cancelled:
