Musician finds perfect way to thank FBI for finding his $5m violin

Musician Frank Almond played a special conference to FBI agents to thank them for recovering his 300-year-old Lipinski Stradivarius, which is valued at around $5 million (or £3,328,452).

The Stradivarius was stolen in a dramatic raid last year, where a man fired a Taser to incapacitate Almond and snatch his instrument. Hours after the robbery, Milwaukee police found the violin case on the side of the road. The violin itself was recovered nine days after the robbery, and Almond later showed his thanks with a performance for members of the FBI and guests from the Milwaukee police department.
