Nicole Kidman discusses kissing Alexander Skarsgård in front of her husband

You might remember the story from a few months ago when Nicole Kidman kissed Alexander Skarsgårdat the Emmy's.

So, as you can guess it was a pretty big showbiz story, especially as Kidman's husband Keith Urban was literally standing right next to them.

The two actors had recently appeared in the hit TV series Big Little Lies together with the pair both winning awards on the evening.

Although it does make sense that two actors who would have worked with each other for months would be fairly familiar with each other, a smooch on the lips raised eyebrows..

The actress recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show to promote her new film The Killing of a Sacred Deer.

Predictably the subject of "that kiss" was brought up.

The Australian star soon became flustered about the issue but took it all in good stride, saying:

You're provocative Graham. I kissed my husband too.

You gotta understand, I did everything with Alex.

She went on to clarify that it was just a "congratulatory kiss" which was probably some subconscious thing that all actors mistakenly do from time to time, right?

I've got an amazing, supportive, gorgeous husband, who I love more than anything in the world, and I gave Alex a congratulatory kiss and he's like a mannequin.

Bryan Cranston, who was also on the show, probably had the best joke.

It looks like Keith is applauding the kiss.
