Twitter
Nigel Farage has made many mistakes in his life but his latest is one for the ages, a glaring typo in a key campaign slogan.
On Twitter, the leader of the Brexit Party posted a picture of himself with the party’s slogan and the words, “Change politics for good”. No issues there but the central message of the poster contained a clear error repeated in the text of the tweet itself:
There is two weeks to put together a Leave alliance and it has to be done.
Yep, you guessed it, that’s a plural and should read there “are” two weeks.
Naturally, the public were keen to point out the mistake to the politician, DJ and architect of despair.
Don't want to be pedantic- but - There ARE two weeks ???? https://t.co/qvs5q8M6BN— JohnARead (@JohnARead) 1572612780
