Police set up night cameras to find a mountain lion and discovered something truly bizarre

You know what’s scary? A mountain lion.

The Gardner Police Department in Massachusetts think so too. On Sunday, following reports of a mountain lion being in the area of Celebration Park, the force set up a number of cameras to catch the large feline in action.

The two trail cameras were set up in the park.

The police confirmed on their Facebook page that the cameras did not pick up any mountain lions. But:

There was a skunk...

Nature's little furries came out to play...

No mountail lion, but a predator nonetheless

And then things got weird

Nobody's quite sure what was going on, but a person wearing a gas mask was involved...

Whatever this was:

This mobile bush

A fox. Of some kind...

And Harambe

The police wrote:

We would like to sincerely thank the persons responsible as it made our day when we pulled up what we expected to be hundreds of pictures of coyotes, foxes and raccoons. Thank you to the citizens who noticed the cameras. Your effort and sense of humor are greatly appreciated.

You and me baby ain't nothin but mammals...
