Nigel Farage - he who conceded, un-conceded, re-conceded and then re-un-conceded the referendum on the European Union - was clearly not always confident that the nation would choose to Brexit.
Just look at what he told the Mirror back in May about what would happen in the event of a 52-48 win for the Remain campaign.

After the Leave side won with exactly that margin, Farage hasn't joined the growing calls for a second referendum. But that doesn't mean people aren't reminding him of those words.
