Someone invented a new acoustic instrument and it sounds unique

Introducing the Yaybahar, which is the creation of musician Görkem Şen.

Not only does it not look like anything else we've seen but it sounds completely unique.

The video's creator Olgu Demir writes on its description page that "membrane, coiled spring and string" combine to give the instrument its futuristic yet traditional sound.
