Ted Cruz has compared Donald Trump to Fat B----rd and himself to Mini-Me

Donald Trump triumphed in the Nevada caucuses for the Republican presidential nomination on Tuesday.

His third convincing win after New Hampshire and South Carolina means that the man we used to laugh at once upon a time as 'F--kface Von Clownstick' is genuinely in with a shot at being the GOP nominee; in modern times. no candidate has won both New Hampshire and South Carolina and then failed to win the nomination.

Trump's only real contenders now are Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.

The improbably-haired billionaire has carried out a systematic bullying campaign against the both of them - Cruz in particular, with whom he used to be friends, Trump has nicknamed 'Canada Ted' and publicly called a 'p--sy'.

Following Cruz's third place finish in Nevada, with 22.4 per cent to Trump's 45 per cent of the vote, Trump (true to form) called him a "soft weak little baby".

To which Cruz posted a bizarre comeback on Twitter - the scene from Austin Powers where Fat B----rd tries to eat Mini-Me.

From which we can only infer that Cruz is OK with likening himself to Dr Evil's protégé.

What a time to be alive.
