Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump dismayed the world yet again on Thursday when a tweet implied he thinks Paris is in Germany.
Trump was referring to two separate incidents - a reported Isis supporter shot in Paris on Thursday, on the anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo attack, and reported co-ordinated sexual assaults in Cologne on New Year's Eve - in his peculiar truncated style.
But Trump's comments were interpreted by many as an indication that the property mogul thinks that Paris is a city in Germany.
We can't believe we're writing this, but no: Donald Trump isn't wrong on this occasion.
Don't let his impressive command of geography throw you, though. There's still a lot wrong with Trump's tweet, which as per usual is playing on unfounded fears about immigration letting in terrorists and rapists into Western countries:
