Jon Sudano/YouTube
Jon Sudano has an extremely loyal following, that loves almost every banger he has delicately crafted (six to date).
He began posting videos to his YouTube channel on October 13 and already has over 34,000 subscribers.
The six existing videos have been viewed more than one million times.
What does Sudano do that's so popular?
Ask yourself: What's better than a rendition of one absolutely massive track? Two massive tracks. Obviously.
Sudano has created videos that feature him singing the words of one song over the music of another.
It's not a horrible cacophony, as Sudano knows what he's doing. Everytime he sings the lyrics to 'All Star' by Smash Mouth.
Textbook.
His latest is a Y.M.C.A cover.
And this one of Adele's 'Hello'
And this of John Lennon's Imagine
You can see the appeal of this distinct video series. It stands out in newsfeeds and recommended videos otherwise dominated by Brexit or Trump vs. Clinton.
A refreshing escape from it all. As is well known, only shooting stars break the mould.
