This poster perfectly sums up how the world feels about terrorism

Two terror attacks in Brussels on Tuesday morning are reported to have left 26 people dead and many more injured.

After rush hour explosions at the Zaventem airport and Maalbeek metro station, people have been quick to show their support for the people of Belgium and its capital city.

Following on from a similar campaign after the Paris attacks last year, the hashtag #JeSuisBruxelles has been shared on social media and many have posted cartoons and the Belgian flag as a sign of solidarity.

But many others have questioned why people show such solidarity to cities in the West, while seemingly overlooking similar terror attacks that have hit places like Ankara, Beirut, Istanbul, Bamako and many others in the past few months - as well as places like Baghdad, Kabul and the cities of Syria where they are a sadly regular occurrence.
