Tory floods minister Rory Stewart has been channelling his inner Ed Balls

April 28th is Ed Balls Day, when people up and down the country celebrate the anniversary of the former Labour cabinet minister Balls tweeting his own name.

But gather round, ye children: 29 December 2015 may have just seen the birth of another worthy tradition.

Floods minister Rory Stewart, in the public eye this week as the face of the government's response to severe flooding in the north, has just arrived in Yorkshire.

And he also just tweeted his own name:

So far there has been no explanation.

No acknowledgment.

The tweet hasn't been deleted.

And the internet's joy is unbridled.

Poor Ed. First his parliamentary seat, and now this?
