Too scaredy-cat for horror movies this Halloween? Try these kitten remakes instead

Find yourself hiding behind the sofa a lot when watching scary movies? We think we’ve found a way to help you claw your way back up.

The ASPCA and Mashable have made a video which recreates famous scenes from horror movies. With cats.

The starring cats, which are called Eucalyptus, Meadow, Liliana, Quinlan and Carlos, were used to raise awareness of the number of cats that are still in need of adoption.

The films depicted include 'The Purring', 'Cattie', 'Psycat' and our personal favourite, 'The Texas Chainsaw Meowsaccre.

So if you're feline in the mood for cat-based scary tails, paws your day and check out this purrody.
