As the Tory leadership contest is underway, Boris Johnson's bid for the premiership is picking up momentum.
And while most people in the UK know by now who Boris is, many in America might be unfamiliar. This is why The Daily Show host Trevor Noah made sure to explain exactly who the prime minister hopeful is - and what better way to do it than with a classic comparison to another white-haired, bad-mouthed leader?
On Thursday, Noah revealed that Donald Trump and Boris Johnson, in fact, were "separated at birth". Speaking alongside a picture of the two of them, Noah said:
Look at them. They look like they were separated at birth, and I mean purposely.
Like the nurse was like 'these two humans should not be at the same place at the same time. Send one to England and send one to the US and pray they never meet.
Noah then proved he was the king of comparisons as he went on to contrast Boris to a “stunt double for Jeff Daniels in Dumb and Dumber” and also said that he thinks the Etonian "looks like a midlife crisis Malfoy”.
While they might not actually be related, Trump and Johnson have in the past said they were friends, with Trump recently stating that he thought Johnson was a "very good guy".
