Donald Trump shared a picture of the good doggo who took part in the US-led operation that resulted in the death of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi over the weekend.

In one of the US president’s rare positive tweets, he shared a photo of the adorable dog after he declassified the image but not the name.

He captioned the photo:

We have declassified a picture of the wonderful dog (name not declassified) that did such a GREAT JOB in capturing and killing the Leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi!

The dog apparently chased al-Baghdadi to a dead0end tunnel following concerns he was wearing a suicide vest, which he ended up detonating in the tunnel, killing himself and three children.

A defence official told CNN that the dog was part of an Army Delta force operation (which is secretive in its nature), so “we can’t tell you the name of the dog.”

Surreal.

Needless to say, the dog became a meme.

We are here for it
