Four Seasons Total Landscaping flooded with joke reviews following Trump debacle

Four Seasons Total Landscaping flooded with joke reviews following Trump debacle

Donald Trump's presidency is perhaps, predictably, ending not with dignity but with anger and embarrassment, especially when they are holding press conferences in the car park of a landscaping firm.

Shortly before it was projected that Joe Biden was going to become the president-elect on Saturday, Trump and members of his campaign announced that they would be holding a press conference at the Four Seasons in Philadelphia.

However, as it turned out this wasn't the luxury Four Seasons hotel in the city but Four Seasons Total Landscaping, a small gardening company on the outskirts of Philadelphia, sandwiched between a crematorium and an adult bookstore.

It sounds almost beyond parody but it genuinely happened. Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani was forced to address members of the press about alleged voter fraud near a hose in a car park as Joe Biden supporters celebrated outside.

If something like this happened on political satire shows like Veep or The Thick of It we might think it was a bit farfetched but considering this is Trump, it feels like the perfect farcical end to his presidency.

Sure enough, Four Seasons Total Landscaping jokes and memes began to flood social media and they were undeniably amusing.

Some people decided to get creative with their mockery of the president. Many headed to review site Yelp to leave fake write-ups, all that made jokes about Trump.

Many of the reviews give the company a very low rating, which is a little unfair, hence it being flagged with a warning label on the Yelp website.

Inevitably, the hilarity surrounding this debacle has prompted some to begin producing spoof t-shirts featuring Gritty, the Philadelphia Flyers ice hockey mascot, on a lawnmower. Twitter user @sawdustbear has said that all profits will be donated to the Georgia runoff elections in January.

Not to be outdone, Four Seasons Total Landscaping have released their own non-partisan merchandise featuring the company logo and the year it was founded on T-shirts and hoodies ranging from $25-$50.

On a more serious note, Four Seasons Total Landscaping owner Siravo and her family attempted to explain on Facebook exactly what had happened and how they ended up hosting the Trump campaign outside of their building, admitting they understood some of the negative comments they had received but were still saddened.

Four Seasons Total Landscaping is a family-owned small business run by lifelong Philadelphians. We were honored to be asked to host a press conference at our facility. We thank all of those that have shown support for our business and while we understand the negative comments, it saddens us that we have received such harsh judgement. Our team at Four Seasons would have proudly hosted any presidential candidate’s campaign at our business. We strongly believe in America and in democracy. We hope that our fellow Americans can join together and support all local small businesses during this time.
