Donald Trump has been roundly condemned, yet again, for critical comments about Nancy Pelosi’s teeth.
Pelosi, the speaker of the United States House of Representatives, was asked by a reporter over the weekend why bribery wasn’t included in the newly unveiled articles of impeachment despite Democrats repeatedly levelling such charges against Trump during the proceedings.
Pelosi said the decision not to include bribery in the articles of impeachment was made after “working together with our committee chairs, our attorneys and the rest.”
The president, in typically understated fashion, shared a video of the exchange with the caption:
Because Nancy’s teeth were falling out of her mouth, and she didn’t have time to think!
Understandably, people were unhappy about this conduct from the President and not shy about airing their views online.
Others pointed out that Trump can hardly talk as he is no stranger to having trouble with his dentures.
A nasty and vindictive personal attack from a sitting President would once have seemed like the stuff of dystopian fiction. These days it's a daily occurrence.
