As Theresa May gets ready to trigger Article 50 next week, more and more Ukip voters are saying that a vote to leave the EU was wrong according to the latest data from YouGov.

Hot on the heels of this rather interesting poll comes the news that the party's only MP, Douglas Carswelll, has quit - stating that "Brexit is in good hands".

In fact, the number of those expressing 'vote-leave regret' has increased 700% in the last 7 months.

Going from just 1% in September to 7% now.

It would appear that an ever increasing number of people are expressing regret for voting leave - with 4% of leave voters claiming that the Brexit vote was "the worst event of 2016".
