Dad strikes out at man who took upskirt photo of his teenage daughter

A man has been arrested for invasion of privacy after video footage allegedly shows him taking pictures from under women’s skirts, including a 15-year-old girl.

Ismael Duarte noticed a man taking pictures of his daughter up her skirt, and subsequent CCTV footage shows him shoving the man out of a store.

The suspect, who has been identified as Jorge A Ibarra Jr, was seen in a Target shop in California. The 29-year-old is shown approaching women, squatting down beside them and allegedly taking pictures.

In one clip he kneels in front of a display of makeup next to a woman; in a second incident he appears to be taking a picture of Duarte’s 15-year-old daughter. Spotting what was going on, Duarte kicked Ibarra’s phone out of his hand and pushed him down. He pushed Ibarra out of the store, and managed to take a picture of the suspect, which eventually led to his identification.

Duarte told KTTV: "I’m pissed off that I didn’t do more than I did but I wish I would have, because I’m so angry."

He explained to KTLA:

My daughter, and the girl that actually was getting their picture taken without her being known – that’s what got me.

His wife Angelica said it was "very disgusting".

It’s disgusting that he knew exactly what he was doing. If he went to different Targets to do this, how many other stores did he go to?

Ibarra was booked into Orange County jail and a bail was set at $25,000. He is suspected to have also taken upskirting photos in a Target in Cerritos.
