A week after a so-called "expert" went on Fox News and claimed that the city of Birmingham was "totally Muslim" and that non-Muslims didn't go there, the channel has apologised.
Taking to the air yesterday, host Jeanine Pirro apologised sincerely to the people of the city and said that "expert" Steve Emerson's "serious factual error" should not have gone unchallenged.
We could find no credible sources that indicate that Birmingham is a so-called 'no go zone'. We deeply regret these errors and apologise to the people of Birmingham, our viewers and all who have been offended.

CNN also reports that Fox interrupted four broadcasts on Saturday to apologise for four separate incorrect claims about Muslims that had been made on the channel.
