When it comes to losing weight it should be all about (within reasonable limits) whatever works for you.

There's no one rule that's been commonly accepted - some people find dietary changes help, some look to exercise, others to changes in habits, while a number of people try a combination of all the above.

The NHS advise calorie control with exercise, sticking to a limit of 1,900 kcal per day in most men and 1,400 kcal for most women.
