When artificial intelligence finally takes over the world, there's at least once thing we can look forward to: Robot real estate looks pretty good.
This 3D printer can construct the entirety of a 650-square-foot model house in 12 to 24 hours. Not bad for a day's work.
The model has a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a curved porch - and it all looks pretty cosy.
The robot prints the walls, roof and floor, while the windows, doors and plumbing are added by a human worker.
This isn't just to look cool.
Over one billion people in the world live without a place to call home, according to a World Resources Institute report.
This first model of the 3D-printed house, recently unveiled in Austin, Texas, is a step towards providing shelter in these communities.
Building a house by hand is time-consuming and costly. But the 3D printer can cut costs to just $10,000 (£7,172) and plans to lower that even further to $4,000 (£2,868).
The project is thanks to homebuilding startup ICON and international non-profit New Story.
