Google's new logo has the internet up in arms. Why? Because people really hate change, evidently.

That, and the plain and simple fact it looks a little bit like Comic Sans (also known as the most loathed font in all the land).

However, with adversity comes opportunity. Opportunity for that very small section of society that adores Comic Sans. Yes, it exists.

To prove just how beautiful Comic Sans can be, here are a selection of some of the most beautiful words in the English language depicted in that cheeky web 0.1 staple.

Lissome: (of a person) thin, supple and graceful.

Chatoyant: (of a gem, especially when cut en cabochon) showing a band of bright lustre caused by reflection from inclusions in the stone.

Serendipity: the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.

Bungalow: a low house having only one storey or, in some cases, upper rooms set in the roof.

Erstwhile: former, formerly.

Inglenook: a space on either side of a large fireplace.

Lagoon: a stretch of salt water separated from the sea by a low sandbank or coral reef.

Gossamer: a fine, filmy substance consisting of cobwebs spun by small spiders.
