This is not a picture of the sun

Scientists have managed to recreate the process that makes the sky look blue to create this artificial skylight.

The technology, which uses LED lights to simulate the sun, was developed in Italy and is called CoeLux. Manufacturers suggest it would be perfect for basement flats. H/T Digg.
