Banksy has not held back on his views about Gaza

For one of his most provocative political projects to date, graffiti artist Banksy headed to Gaza.

Accompanied by a short video documentary (above), the anonymous artist posted photographs of his stencils on concrete and rubble, including an image of a crying figure wearing a head scarf, a dark scene of children playing on a fairground ride and a white cat licking its paws.

Banksy posted photographs of his work to his official website, captioning his first stencil of the sad, crouching figure simply as “Bomb damage, Gaza City.”

If we wash our hands of the conflict between the powerful and the powerless we side with the powerful - we don't remain neutral.

More: The new Banksy has already been defaced

More: No, Banksy has not been arrested (sigh)
