On Sunday the Grammy Awards dominated TV screens across the world with a politically charged performance by A Tribe Called Quest and some recording-breaking wins.
Adele sent shockwaves across the music industry by winning Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year two times in a row - the first artist ever to do so.
Beyoncé picked up Best Urban Contemporary Album for Lemonade, and Best Music Video. However many thought she should have won Album of the Year too.
To Adele's credit, she agreed.

I can't possibly accept this award…The Lemonade album was just so monumental, Beyoncé. It was so monumental and well thought-out and beautiful and soul-bearing... we appreciate that. All of us artists here adore you. You are our light.
And then, Mean Girls - style, she broke the Grammy in half.
What. A. Sweetheart.
The internet thought so too…
They loved the fact that she 'Kanyed' herself - reminiscent of Kanye West's infamous interruption of Taylor Swift's speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, to give a tribute to Beyoncé.
Beyoncé was praised for her poise and grace...
And her aesthetic...
And her insane stage performance...
Let's just say the Beyhive was out in full force...
I mean...
Can you blame them?
