Eating Things With Famous People / YouTube
By now, it's a well-known fact that most people were extremely unimpressed by the last season of Game of Thrones. So, in true 'Deepfake' style, they've decided to make Jon Snow apologise, and good riddance.
Produced by the YouTube channel Eating Things with Famous People, the clip shows Kit Harrington, aka John Snow the 'bastard of Winterfell', condemning the entirety of Season 8, as well as other notable figures from the seven kingdoms.
In the hilarious spoof video, Snow can be heard saying:
It’s time for some apologies.
I’m sorry we wasted your time. I’m sorry we didn’t learn anything from the ending of Lost.Â
He then quips:
I had more lines in this video, than I had in the last season.Â
I'm sorry for that, and I know nothing makes sense at the end.Â
The 'Deepfake' then takes aim at some of the HBO series' other most controversial moments, such as the Starbuck's cup fiasco.
When the Starbucks cup is the smallest mistake, you know you f*****up!
We take the blame. I’m sorry we wrote this in like six days or something.
The video then wraps up with a whole host of characters including Arya Stark and Daenerys Targaryen setting fire to the entirety of the seaon 8 script.
Rounding up the video, Snow says:
Now… let us burn the script of season 8 and just forget it forever!
F***Â season 8!
