By now, you'll have probably seen Joaquin Phoenix's acclaimed performance in the most controversial motion picture of the year; Joker.
Whether you thought it was a masterpiece, an overrated mess or just an average film with little to say beyond its central role is up to you but there is no doubting that you'll have had a debate about it with a friend.
That being said, one thing that we can all agree on is that the memes about the movie and it's faux-seriouness have been very funny but one, in particular, has caught the internet's imagination.
One scene, where Joker is in the back of a police car has gone viral after one Twitter user claimed it was a reference to a similar scene from The Dark Knight, where Heath Ledger plays the same character.
This tweet has since gone viral, for all the wrong reasons, as people have chosen to mock this poor chap for simply making an observation.
However, the tweet has since taken on a life of its own with people using the image of Joker with the words "for those who didn’t catch the reference" with images of other famous faces in the back of cars or behind windows.
Needless to say, the meme is very funny and arguably better than the movie itself. Here are some of our favourites.
