Neil deGrasse Tyson tried (and failed) to shut down B.o.B who said the Earth is flat

On Monday rapper B.o.B joined Tila Tequila in declaring to his millions of Twitter followers a sincerely held belief that the Earth is flat.

B.o.B (real name Bobby Ray Simmons)'s extraordinary rant started with the tweet above and continued until the early hours as he fended off any silly ~facts~ contradicting his opinion.

Horizons? Nah. Felix Baumgartner's space jump? Nah. Pictures from space? Nah.

He also tweeted a lot of pictures of flat things to prove his point.

If my tweets are rattling the tiny little cages of your reality... the unfollow button is right there

Eventually, world-famous astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson got involved to try and knock some sense into B.o.B., and it quickly turned into a good ol'fashioned Twitter spat.

But B.o.B has taken things to the next level.

The undeterred truther took to the studio to write and record a diss track - feating deGrasse Tyson himself - in the small hours of the morning, called 'Flatline' (do you see what he did there?)

The lyrics are, as you might imagine, batshit. Highlights include:

Hah, am I paranoid? Picture Malcolm X
In a room full of pigs, trying not to bust a sweat
Aye, Neil Tyson need to loosen up his vest
They’ll probably write that man one hell of a check

Indoctrinated in a cult called science
And graduated to a club full of liars
Heliocentrism, you were the sixth victim
Fuck you and your team, you could sit on the bench with ‘em

Anyway. In case there was the slightest possibility you'll get bored with this story, B.o.B has at least one more conspiracy theory up his sleeve...
