Director Wes Anderson has one of the most distinctive aesthetics in modern movies.
His kitsch and quirky sets are a stunning blend of symmetry, patterns and palette colours.
From films like The Grand Budapest Hotel to The Royal Tenenbaums, Anderson has consistently amazed with the level of detail that he applies to his movies.
They often look like nothing else in the modern world, and are closer to an art installation than a depiction of reality.
His fans though are determined to find places that bear a striking resemblance to his films and have been scouring the globe in search of them.
Users on the Accidental Wes Anderson reddit page have been posting their findings and they have not disappointed.
These photos could have easily been taken from any of his films.
