Unemployed TV presenter Piers Morgan has sent out a warning to his “insufferably woke” critics that he will retaliate against them following his exit from Good Morning Britain earlier this month.
The broadcaster and journalist abruptly left the ITV morning show on 9 March following a furious backlash over his comments about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey on the couple’s decision to step down as working members of the royal family.
Morgan faced strong criticism for challenging Markle’s account of her time as a working royal and her claims that she suffered from mental health issues, including suicidal thoughts, while living in England.
Now, he’s issued an ominous warning to his high-profile critics that he is taking names and planning his revenge…
Memo to all high-profile, insufferably woke, unctuously virtue-signalling, shamefully race-baiting hypocrites: I'm… https://t.co/GX9Lgaz2Lp— Piers Morgan (@Piers Morgan) 1615929816
It’s unclear what exactly Morgan is threatening to do that he’s not already doing – as he has been known to call out his opponents and perceived enemies on social media and on TV for many years now.
That’s why some users have seen his latest comment as a laughably empty threat…

Morgan’s controversial exit from Good Morning Britain does not appear to have done much to hurt his appeal within the TV industry though, as he is reportedly at the centre of a £10m bidding war for his services.
“He has had millions of pounds worth of offers. He turned GMB into a ratings hit, it seems everything he touches turns to gold,” a source told The Mirror last week.
They added: “Some of the offers have hit the £10 million mark, and it seems he may be able to land exactly what he wants.”
The source also apparently claimed that the presenter was being courted by Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch and the new 24-hour channel GB News.
We’re sure his critics are terrified at the idea of him returning to screens...
