Have you ever got the sense that someone's talking about you behind your back? Well imagine witnessing it first hand.
That's what Renee Zellweger experienced when she was on the Tube in 2014 and heard three people talking about her appearance.
It happened shortly after she was subject to speculation about whether or not she'd had plastic surgery.
She said:
They were talking about Hollywood and how Hollywood ladies are so silly, especially that Renee Zellweger.
'How could she do that? Why would she go and have surgery on her face like we wouldn’t know?'
Zellweger was speaking on US radio station SiriusXM's Jess Cagle Show when she made the comments.
She said that the man was still talking about "how stupid I am" when she got up to leave the train.
It was at that point she realised he recognised her.
He looked up and he said, ‘Oh God, you’re not —you are! Oh my God, but you look just like yourself!’ And I said: ‘Yeah, it’s funny how that works, isn’t it?’
The 50-year-old actor has been subject to endless rumours about plastic surgery since her 2014 appearance at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards, when people noticed a difference in her appearance.
She has denied plastic surgery claims and said it's no one's business but her own. At the time she said she was "living a different, happy, more fulfilling life."
