After picking up one more gold medal each in Rio on Tuesday, cyclists Laura Trott and fiance Jason Kenny are two of the UK's most successful Olympians ever.

Trott is now Britain's most successful female Olympic athlete to date, with four gold medals to her name, and Kenny has equalled Sir Chris Hoy's record of six.

Their staggering achievements mean that if the pair's household was a competitor in its own right, they'd currently be 13th in the Rio league table.

Which is none too shabby.

While the duo had an active fanbase before, overnight it's exploded.

The best part? How happy the couple themselves are for each other:

D'awww.

Rio 2016 is now the UK's most successful overseas Olympics ever: Team GB have won 50 medals so far, already beating their target of 48.

We need seven more golds to beat the London 2012 haul of 29, and 65 medals overall.
