Go Ahead Eagles had battled away against Ajax - the most successful team in the history of Dutch football - and were on the brink of securing a respectable point on Sunday afternoon.

That was until the 88th minute when forward Wesley Verhoek passed the ball back to (the wonderfully-named) goalkeeper Mickey van der Hart, it bobbled horribly over his swinging foot and trickled into the net to make it 2-1.

An embarrassing incident for both men no doubt. But accusations have since surfaced after people pointed out that Van der Hart is under contract at Ajax and on loan at Go Ahead for the season.

Although perhaps the Go Ahead groundsman has more to answer for...
