Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hit back at his critics after scoring two goals against Denmark to secure Sweden's place at the European Championship.
It had been rumoured that the Swedish forward had been planning to retire from international football after the tournament or at the end of the qualifying campaign had his country failed to make it to France next summer.
But following the 2-2 draw on Tuesday night, which secured a 4-3 victory on aggregate, Zlatan had this message for the people of Denmark who thought they could get the better of him:
They said they were going to send me to retirement. I sent their whole nation into retirement.
