As we grow older, it’s only natural for our sartorial preferences to shift. But we start losing interest in one high street store earlier than you might think.

Consumer analysis agency Insight Rooms surveyed social engagement around high-street favourite Zara and found some interesting results.

Despite its tailored suits and demure office wear, those who engage with Zara the most are aged 23 to 27, before almost completely losing interest at the age of 33.

But there must be a lot of people in their early twenties filling their wardrobes with Zara, because the retailer recently announced record profits.

The average age people lose interested in the retailer is 25, writes Who What Wear.

Of course, we all know that's because age 25 is the perfect time to start knitting our own cardigans.
