Amazingly, these women are not related

Introducing the Twin Strangers challenge.

The initiative was set up by three friends at Dublin City University at the end of March and, as you might expect from its name, they are all looking for a doppelgänger. Just one catch - Harry English, Terence Manzanga and Niamh Geaney only have one month to do it.

There's some loose science behind this. "They say there are 7 people in the world who look exactly like you," the project's website states. "Do you know anyone who looks like us?! Upload your photos or share this page with your friends to help us find our perfect Twin Stranger!"

Niamh, 26, was the first of the trio to meet her lookalike, named Karen. Even without the same make-up, similarly styled hair and clothes the resemblance is uncanny.
