We’re all familiar with the Bigfoot mystery but it’s been a while since we’ve seen anyone stumble across apparent evidence of the reclusive beast.

Well, new footage that claims to show a sasquatch like-creature carrying a smaller sasquatch across a river in Michigan has emerged online, thanks to the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organisation.

The very brief four-second clip reportedly comes from someone called Eddie V whose cousin claims to have spotted the figure when he was kayaking on the Cass River.

It shows a huge being – that has a human body shape but appears to be covered in some sort of thick brown fur – wading across the water and carrying something in one of its arms.

According to the Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organisation blog, Eddie V wasn’t sure what it was that he sure but others seemed convinced it was bigfoot.

“Not sure what it is, but I have sent it to a few people to see what they say. Some say it’s Bigfoot carrying a baby Bigfoot, others say it’s Bigfoot carrying a deer.”

As you can imagine the footage, which has already been viewed more than 230,000 times on YouTube, has proved divisive as many aren’t convinced by what they have seen.

Numerous people who claim to know the area say that it is is popular with hunters and fishermen and that the figure in the video could easily be a heavyset man wearing camouflage and carrying his gear or his hunt across the water.

One person wrote: “It does look pretty strange to say the least, but it also kinda looks like someone in waders fishing in the river?? Maybe just crossing right there with some fishing gear in his hands?”

Another person asked a very relevant question in regards to the video: “The major problem for me is: why is the video so short? If I saw that thing, I’d definitely continue filming or make a second video of it immediately after the first.”

Needless to say, it doesn’t look like this particular video is convincing people but who’s to say? The truth is out there, somewhere...
