If you love Donald Trump, why not become a US citizen?

Not so fast, there's a test run by the US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS).

  • Get a green card for 'permanent residency'.
  • Complete an N-400 form ($595) and pay for a biometrics test ($85).
  • Give them your finger prints. The FBI will check for a criminal record.
  • Take your naturalisation test.

The test contains civics questions, in which most applicants need to score at least 60 per cent to pass.

Usually the civics test is an oral exam conducted with an official from the USCIS, who asks 10 questions from a list of 100 which potential citizens have been given an advance to study.

See if you'd make it by answering these questions from the USCIS' official list.

To see the full list of 100 questions, and the full set of answers (no cheating, this is American dang it), click here.

Once you've passed all these stages, you can attend the oath ceremony.
