An Olympic coach’s tender moment with his two figure skaters has gone viral.
Former Olympic figure skater Brian Orser accompanied Javier Fernandez of Spain and Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan to Pyeongchang to support them during their Olympic performances.
Hanyu won a gold medal for the ice skating portion and his rival and training partner Fernandez won bronze.
The duo embraced after the competition and Orser, touched by his students’ display of affection, did what any proud coach would do: he took pictures.
Images of him capturing the warm embrace quickly went viral.
It was all very emotional.
