Guess which party is most likely to think there's a coming apocalypse?

Go on, guess...

That's right. Forget about Jean Claude Juncker conquering the world, it's actually the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse that have Ukip supporters worried.

According to a new survey by YouGov, Ukip voters were found to be the most likely (31 per cent) of the main political parties' supporters to believe the end of the world will happen in their lifetime.

Labour supporters came next on 23 per cent, followed by the Conservatives on 21 per cent and Lib Dems on 20 per cent. No data was given for Green or SNP voters.

However, the YouGov research also showed that Ukip supporters, along with Conservatives (both 28 per cent), were most likely to think they would survive longer than others in the community.

And we're pretty sure we know what official Ukip policy would be in case of an apocalypse. As they say in Shaun of the Dead: "Head to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over."
