Kiss FM just killed April Fools' Day dead: If there's a worse April Fool than this, we don't want to see it

In the face of increasingly elaborate and meta April Fools' Day hoaxes, Kiss FM has kicked it old school with an utterly half-hearted effort regarding Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

"BIG NEWS" it promised on its website this morning. There was no fake news though, no second child announcement or launch of a Kanye West fashion line made entirely out of cous cous, just the words "APRIL FOOL!" and a Despicable Me gif.

The flimsy attempt doesn't really fare well under scrutiny either, can any Kimye news really be considered big?

You must try harder, Kiss, Metro went to the trouble of setting up a fake hippo café website this morning.
