It's usually an angry dog that takes umbrage to the postman delivering his mail, but in Canada it's "bear at door".

The Huffington Post reports that Matthew Fane discovered this note from his local Canada Post postman in Greater Vancouver.

But for every brave Canadian postie battling a bear, there is a UK counterpart contending with a, um, chicken.
