Unicorns don't exist.

Now we've ripped that plaster off, you can pretend to have some sort of maturity as you revel in this hashtag with all the other manchildren.

National Unicorn Day has been a subject of note on Twitter today.

It's bringing out the best in Twitter, as few things do.

The unicorn is the official national animal of Scotland and features on the royal coat of arms.

The tourism organisation VisitScotland has been using the hashtag to promote tourism to Scotland.

Sculptures have been made, but sadly unicorns are not seen in the wild.

Mostly because they're creatures of myth.

OH WAIT THEY ARE REAL.
